Recently member Murray Cameron was awarded the title of Volunteer of the Year by Canterbury Golf at their awards ceremony. He was selected from all golf clubs in the Canterbury Golf region and was chosen by our club as an entry for this award.
Since becoming a relatively new member of our club, Murray has used his talents and connections to make great improvements to the course such as bridging and modifications and also being a catalyst in fostering sponsorship and organising fund-raising tournaments. We are proud to have him achieve the award which recognises his huge contribution to the life of our club.
