The committee has approved the use of a new monogram subject to members’ approval. Please look at the images below then select your choice by checking the appropriate response in the panel at the bottom.
The emblem has been in use for 8 years in line form as the logo used in official club documents including our website.
It has now been adapted for use against a variety of coloured backgrounds to make it suitable as a monogram for use on club apparel. Both versions (document & apparel) are shown below
for comparison.
The logo was developed to give the club presence in its projection to the outside world and contains the elements which make the club unique – its place among the hills and rivers of the Hawarden area.
The present monogram in use is generic and only becomes relevant with the club’s name prominent over the emblem, while the new monogram may not actually need the club’s name by the graphic becoming more widely known as being distinctly Hawarden’s over time.
