NZMCA members are most welcome to enjoy taking in the picturesque ambience of the course and the delights of a round of golf. Parking is recommended at the entrance to the course (adjacent No.2 green) where a tap is situated for water. Outside toilets are available. While dogs are not allowed on the course, members with dogs are allowed to walk their pooches on a lead around its margins. Of course, doggie does must be picked up. The $5 fee is waived if members pay for a round of golf ($20).
Directions
From Culverden/SH7: Travel approx. 18kms then turn right onto Hawarden Hurunui Rd (signs for Hawarden), travel 8kms to roundabout, take 3rd exit onto Horsley Down Rd; well signposted. From Waikari: Turn left onto Princes St, travel approx. 8kms to roundabout. Head straight through to Horsley Down Rd & travel 500m, golf course is on left. Additional Information: Proximity to Lake Sumner, local gardens, Cafe Bar (Tue – Sat 10am to 3pm), shops, winery. Restrictions: NO dogs allowed on golf course.
